SmartMusic is an online software that can be downloaded and used to practice music with tracks, a tuner, metronome, and recorder. This can be beneficial for teachers who are looking to have there students practice and submit recordings of their assignments. The teacher can examine how well the student is doing by having the pitch detection turned on and see what the student is struggling with. This software does require a subscription but it is very beneficial for those who are interested in the students status.

Musictheory.net is an online website and mobile app that provides lessons, exercises, and tools that can aid a student in music theory. Everything from basics, rhythm and meter, scales and key signatures can be found on this website.
